Yifat graduated with distinction from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.

In the Alices series Bezalel is using the character of Alice in wonderland. She's disconnecting Alice from the original narrative, emplacing her in multiple-character, meticulously built up scenes. Bezalel is reflecting about the hole through which Alice falls, a passage, a gateway, limbo, nowhere, where nothing is happening.

In her series One Death, Bezalel is using the well-known Snow-white character, raising questions about states of conscious and unconscious, anticipation, suspense and death.

Bezalel is also interested in the relationship between the studio and nature, and her ongoing yearning for nature. The essence of movement is present when Bezalel re-creates the studio inside the exhibition space. Sketches and drawings are spread on the floor, other works are placed on the walls, rather than hung, all look as in the middle of process of creation.

Bezalel's works are kept in major collections worldwide including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Manuela Wirth collection (Swiss), the Kaye collection (UK), and the Tel Aviv museum of Art collection (Israel).
